A church in the community, a light for the community
Sunday Gathering
On a Sunday we worship God through music, share teachings from the Bible, pray together, as well as getting to know each other better over some refreshments. It is a relaxed worship gathering that is suitable for all ages.
We meet for worship every Sunday @ World Horizons, North Dock, Llanelli, SA15 2LF at 4pm (unless stated otherwise). Parking can be located at the rear and front of the building.

What else is on?
During the week we host a number of other groups:
- Teen Youth Club - Sunday 6pm - 7:15pm (term time only)
- Teen Study Social - Wednesday 5:30pm - 6:30pm (term time only)
- JOY Gathering (teen worship) - Wednesday 6pm - 7:15pm (once a month, term time only)
- Adult Bible Study - Three meetings a month, dates and times vary
- Monthly Adult Social - One Saturday a month
- Renewal Space - Friday 1pm - 3pm
- Young Adult Life Group - two Friday evenings a month at 7pm
We also have a number of charity events throughout the year and a few special gatherings for different celebrations.
Our Vision
As a church our vision is for everyone to have a place of freedom to get to know Jesus. A place where people have a sense of belonging and have the space where they can go on their journey of faith from belonging to believing. We want this church to be a hospitable space for those who are new to faith and exploring faith and also a space for those who have known Jesus throughout their lives to grow and deepen in their faith.
Our mission is to serve Christ in the community and to be a Christlike light for those who are searching.
We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB), and work closely with other churches across the Llanelli and Swansea area.
Golau Baptist Church is insured through Baptist Insurance.
